Strauss Research

The Vienna Institute for Strauss Research (WISF) is a support association for scientific research projects related to the Strauss family and their contemporaries, based in the Casino Zögernitz.

The old Casino Zögernitz, with the beautiful garden and the magnificent, sonorous ballroom, was opened on July 21. 1837 and established as a popular venue for the Viennese society.
